Good day,

I have managed to buid some html5 ads using GWD. I have uploaded them on Adwords, where approved but the destination link was not working, and the prospects who sow the ads where not able to click the ads.

I got support form google asking me to ad a click tag to my ads, using this procedure: http://creative.adform.com/support/documentation/build-html5-banners/other-building-tools/google-web-designer/

I did as I was told and now all my ads are dissaproved because the scrip used for the click tag contains a link (https://s1.adform.net/banners/scripts/rmb/Adform.DHTML.js?bv=0.361462137196213) that is not compling with GA policies.

If I erase the link from the script, the destination link is not working.

The last respounce I have received from support is to start over and create a new ad from scratch using double click, using this procedure (https://support.google.com/webdesigner/answer/4418598?hl=en&ref_topic=4418538&vid=1-635798113294589227-4002519106&rd=1)

Would you be so kind to advice me regarding this issue I am facing?

Jaz

Hi,

Thanks very much for using Google Web Designer and we appreciate you writing in! Regarding your ad, rather than the instructions you linked to, I would recommend following the instructions from our Help Center for creating the Tap Area: Add a call-to-action.

Additionally, when you created the ad, did you choose the AdWords environment? If you choose Generic, you can convert your ad to AdWords using these instructions.

Please try these steps and let us know if you need anything more!

thx
