how can I remove the YouTube logo from video player?

I seen that there is a separate stylesheet for the youtube component.  I would like to have the youtube logo removed from the player.  Is this possible within the component or in the code for GWD?

Hi scmeeker,

You can choose to not show the Controls, which will remove the YouTube logo from the bottom of the video (this will also hide the progress bar and player controls).

Give it a try and see if it provides the desired effect.

Click on the YouTube component on stage, and in the Properties panel on the right side, go the field labeled Controls and change it to None in the dropdown. More info here: https://support.google.com/webdesigner/answer/3232992

I tried this but everything disappears accept for the YouTube logo.  The logo stays for a few seconds then disappears but when you rollover the video, it reappears again.  We want it so it never shows up, is this a possibility?

Hi ,

 YouTube logo will re-appear when a user rollover  the controls .

 You can  hide the  Youtube logo from controls  by adding an  Extra Player  parameters   modestbranding = 1  in Youtube Component PI advance settings . 

This parameter lets you use a YouTube player that does not show a YouTube logo. Set the parameter value to 1 to prevent the YouTube logo from displaying in the control bar.

Note that a small YouTube text label will still display in the upper-right corner of a paused video when the user's mouse pointer hovers over the player.

I tried this and as soon as I Preview it, the Youtube logo is the first thing to show.  After a few seconds it disappears but again, on rollover, the logo returns.  Any other suggestions as to why the logo would still be showing up?

It is working as expected for me .   Youtube logo is  not  showing up in control bar  when  I add    modestbranding=1 Extra Player  parameters .  Can you check if there is any spaces  in the parameter ?

I also can not get this to work, I have definitely entered parameter correctly, but a youtube logo still appears with controls with a link to "watch on youtube".

Is there a way, in the video component to disable the full screen button in the controls? Client using 2mb video in banner and does not want it expanded as it looks pixellated, however does want controls of pause, play and mute. I was hoping to use youtube component to get around this problem, but I cannot get youtube logo to hide despite using the modest branding parameter.
