I created a dynamic ad. Everything works fine, except the dynamic exit.

I put the dynamic content in a group because I'm using images and text which need to be synced/dynamic. https://support.google.com/webdesigner/answer/6321137?hl=en

I also put a Tap Area in that group because it has to be dynamic too.

Attached a sceenshot of the data binding. The link to the dynamic feed works fine, but the Tap Area isn't clickable. So that's not the reason for the problem.

Yes, I did put the group with the Tap Area inside in front of everything else.
Yes, I pusblished it to DoubleClick Studio.

Even if this would work, the gallery wouldn't be swipeable anymore, because the group with the Tap Area is in front of it.

Can I add dynamic exit links to the Swipe Gallery itself?

Thanks in advance & best regards,
Severin

Hi Severin,

I assume you are using groups inside the Swipe Gallery, right?

There are two ways to use exit urls in Swipe Gallery for dynamic creative:

1) If you want the image/group inside the Swipe Gallery to be clickable, go to the Properties panel, enable the "Include navigation" option, then disable swipe in the Advanced Setting. This will make the gallery clickable and still have a way to navigate the gallery.

2) If you want to keep the swipe function in the gallery (instead of using the navigation), you will need to set up the Exit URLs binding for the Swipe Gallery by manually entering a "pluck... join" custom filter in Data Schema Object field, for example:

So in your file, you would have something like this: Google_Merchant_Center | pluck offer_landing_page_xxx_url | join

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Emily (GWD Team)
