Uploading Dynamic Ad to Adwords Fails, Problem Found

I've had an issue where when uploading a dynamic product ad for a real estate feed to Adwords, I get an error "The HTML5 ad is a custom layout for a different ad format." After investigating, the line of code that's causing the problem is this:

<gwd-gpa-data-provider id="gpa-data-provider" gwd-schema-id="dynamic_realestate" network-schema-id="416"></gwd-gpa-data-provider>

When that is removed, the ad uploads with no issue. However, it appears that because of this, the ad isn't actually populating with any of the feed data (it doesn't show any of the feed items when previewed).

Is this a bug in GWD, or Adwords? What is the proper value, and what can I do to make a dynamic remarketing HTML5 ad work in Adwords?

I have the same problem but with the product merchant feed. I have tried all options, all fail

Hi Jonathan,

It seems that your account is not properly set up for dynamic creative but I am not sure... it would be better to contact your AdWords account rep, or if do not have an assigned rep, you can contact AdWords via their Contact Us form.
