hi.. i am new here,

i have my own website http://www.incony.org

i used win word to create it... and a standalone program called ptviewer to enable viewing of panoramic images... a long time ago with updates until 2010

i have one very big image on my family tree so big i had to manually configure the hyperlinks in it...:(

my website is in desperate need of refurb...  i have just lost enthusiasm since windows updates essentially prevented my web site from functioning properly

i want to use an integral panorama viewer... since right now windows 8 Internet Explorer and chrome wont let the java script ptviewer work

without me removing security...  so i get an error... ptviewer is blocked... and that defeats the website completely..

SO.. i am looking at using an alternative panorama viewer that i can integrate in the pages... and wont be locked out by security...

i need some advice on what i need...  how i can ensure that folks who look at the pics get the panorama viewer  and not a blocked java script window..

or can someone recommend a viewer that will work? and how.. both in IE and Chrome?

should i stick with java script and css?   use aq boilerplate template and start from scratch?

gimme some inspiration webdesigners...  :)

right now i tried downloading my start page  the one you see on the link above. into webdesigner...  it loaded... i see it... but i can run it... in either ie or chrome... using the tab... in webdesigner

so this mo i`m stuffed.. ive a website that dont work... and i cant get to work at all in webdesigner.... yet bless it.. but for the viewer not working ive still got a site online...

I know it's an old thread, but did you ever resolve your query ?
