I am adding a Tap Area to my advert I have created. My objective is to create a HTML5 advert that can be hosted by partners, so this is not being inserted into Adwords for example. It is for partners to use on their own website.
Adding the CTA is easy https://support.google.com/webdesigner/answer/3244675?hl=en - and you can see the URL exit dialogue panel below.

My question is - I do not want to create an advert for each client as I want to have:
utm_source=<partner url> - where partner URL = the url of the webpage the advert is hosted in.
Is it possible to configure the advert to store the URL of the page it is being hosted in so that you can then pass this parameter into the CTA url?
This would mean I can track where an advert CTA came from without having to generate per partner adverts to insert a static utm_source value.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
Kind regards, Steve.
Am i just approaching this the wrong way? It just seems to be able to have a CTA in your HTML5 adverts that get hosted in partner sites - there must be a way to dynamically send the partner url in the UTM tracking...
If you can provide any insights or help I'd really appreciate it.
Kind regards, Steve.
