Hi there,
I'm running into issues when loading HTML5 created into Revive adserver (ex OpenX).
The issues are related to the images display and the animations.

Once loaded the .zip file the preview is only displaying the name of the image but not the image itself.
In this sample attached, you can see the result of a simple banner with a background image and no animation.

I did download samples of HTML5 ready ads from Google, created with GWD and even in that case images are not displaying.
text or use colour for a background will appear.

Not sure where the issue is.

Any solution?

Thanks

Did you publish the file prior to uploading it to the ad server? Please select File > Publish > Locally.
When you doubleclick on the index.html to preview it in the browser, do you see the images?

Did you try using Chrome to upload to Revive ad server to see if you see the same issue? I'm wondering if you have any type of Ad blocker on in Safari?

Thanks,
San

I do have adblocker on Safari but even uploading from Chrome doesn't work. Here's the screenshot

We have never tested Revive but a quick search shows that a creative published from Google Web Designer might not work immediately when uploading to Revive. You also need the extra steps with the iframe. Please see this post. If you have any other issue with Revive ad server, please try the Revive forum.

Hope it helps.

Thanks San, the new version on Revive is supporting HTML5 and distribute the code using an iFrame however that iFrame is not displaying the ad correctly. I've posted on their forum but didn't get any reply after days unfortunately.

I actually tested the gwd page after the server loaded, bypassing the ad server and the images are not visible in this case either.

solved. I think it was a DNS issue. By removing the www the system is now capable of delivering the ad via iFrame
