Every time I create a new file and import images they show up as transparent boxes with a grey 1px stroke.
Looking in the asset library the items are in there but they say "no preview available." It is also saying "the selected image is too large to preview" or "one or more of the dropped images is too large to render. please consider using smaller images" up top but my images are like 300x250 or smaller.
Any clue what is going on? I've tried deleting the program and reinstalling with no resolution.
Running on Yosemite 10.10.3
Chrome version: 44.0.2403.89
Thank You,
Matt
I have same problem - did you find a solution ?
Cheers, Michael
HD:\Users\<username>
\AppData\Local\Google\Google Web Designer\data\cache
(note: you need to enable “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” in Folder options View tab)~/.local/share/google-web-designer/data/cache
/Users/<username>
/Library/Application Support/Google/Web Designer/data/cache
I have tried File > Importing Assets, Dragging Images into the app, dragging from local files within app and uploading as assets within DoubleClick Studio. All result in same error, "One or more of the dropped images is too large to render. please consider using smaller images."
I tried importing a .svg, .jpeg and .png no difference between file types. When images are imported a div with white stroke appears, has no properties or id.
One temp solution I am trying to refine is adding an image via the 'code view' using the url from DoubleClicks assets library. Code as below (edited)
<img class="fbxfvb gwd-img-ijsm" source="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/richmedia/studio/******/468-5.jpg" id="bg5" width="468px" height="60px" is="gwd-image" style="">
Problem being these images are not easily editable, changing the top, left properties takes no effect, dragging images change the 3D orientation and is inaccurate.
No screenshots attached as 'attach file' button unresponsive.
Can not find the cache after showing hidden files, Google folder does not exist in Application Support.
Any update on this would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you,
Adam Jacques.
I'm a windows user and have the same problem.
I delete all the stuff in the cache folder
Windows: HD:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Google Web Designer\data\cache
and the problem still stay with me.
I also try uninstall the software-> restart PC -> reinstall GWD.
But the problem is still there.
Any Idea?
