Editing a Published HTML (No source file available)

Hello,

Is there any way for a workaround on opening a "published" HTML file created on GWD? What if I don't have a source HTML file? Is my only option to start from scratch?

I've read online that ideally, some lines could be removed from the code in order to make it editable. Please advise.
