Custom Video Element

Hi there,

I am trying to create a custom element that extends the native video element.
Is the gwd-video element open source for me to take a look?
If not could you provide some resources for creating custom GWD elements that extend native HTML elements as the example given in the docs does not.

So to clarify I want the element in HTML to look like this: <video is="custom-video-component"></video> 

rather than <custom-video-component></custom-video-component>

Is this possible with GWD?
