Preview isn't working

Since the last update the preview button isn't working anymore for me, it's getting really annoying.

I've tried close and open the program again, reboot the computer and reintall the program but the problem persist.

I usually worked with the preview button to see how the banner was looking in the browser

is there a way to fix this issue?

Hi Andres,

Can you try the follow steps?

1. Close GWD.

2. Delete the GWD cache from the following location

• Windows:  \Users\<username> \AppData\Local\Google\Google Web Designer\data\cache
  
• Mac:  /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/ Google/Web Designer/data/cache
  
• Linux: ~/.local/share/google-web-designer/data/cache

3. Relaunch GWD

4. Create a new file and preview

I followed the steps, it works for preview new created banners...
but the banner I'm currently working can't be previewed, I don't know the reason.

Did you see any error messages in GWD when preview the banner you currently working on?

If you see any errors, can you take a screenshot and attach it to this post?

If possible, would you please also send the banner files that you have problem with preview to us at gwd-s...@google.com?

No error messages, I just click preview on browser and nothing happens.

I sent you the banner files to the mail you provided me, I hope you find what's wrong.

Have you tried removing the cache files with the following steps?

1. Close GWD.

2. Delete the GWD cache from the following location

Can you also check to see if there is AdBlocker installed on the browser? Please disable/uninstall it. For Chrome and Firefox, you can also try to uncheck "Use Tracking Protection" in Privacy Settings.

I think I've found a fix,

first of all disable any addblocks you have, i have both addblock and addblock plus installed. for me, disabling addblock plus allows the preview to show

secondly and more important, the preview doesn't generate the gwd_webcomponents_min.js file. a quick google search took me to

https://github.com/niutech/gwdcomponents/blob/gh-pages/gwd_webcomponents_min.js

copy the code into a new .js file (name it gwd_webcomponents_min.js) within the preview directory (or use the file I've attached) and it should work
