Hi,
This issue was originally filed on Twitter, I am listing it here so that we can work with the requestor on this issue.

From customer:
I can not anymore connect Google web designer to a dynamic feed in Google DoubleClick Studio.
In "Dynamic properties", I select data schema type : Customised schema. I'm login with my professionnal account, with owner access to a Google Doubleclick Studio account.
I select a Advertiser, and nothing is happening. I can't select a Profile.

On preview version: 1.6.4, it was not working.
But on older version, it was working. I've made some dynamics creatives with this interface and data binding in Google Web Designer.

Details: is not working on Mac OS and Windows.

Request for customer:
Romain, can you please provide the Advertiser Name and Profile Name? We are going to try and troubleshoot on our end. You can email us if that is your preference: gwd-s...@google.com

thx!

Hello,

Thanks for answer.
The advertiser name is "DAZN (DACH)"
and the profil I want to load is DAZN_DYN

You can see, the brackets in the advertiser name. Perhaps the issue origine.

THx.

Hi Romain,

When I tried with your advertiser name and profile name, they both work in my account.

Have you tried typing the profile name (DAZN_DYN) in "Profile" box? Do you see any error message?

Thanks,
Emily

Hello Emily,

After I've select the advertiser, I can't focus the input "Profile". I can't typing the profile name.
No error message. Nothing append. The OK button is disallowed.

Hi Romain,

I checked with our developer and he replied that in the latest GWD version, we are using advertiser id for matching the selected advertiser, so the special characters () in the advertiser name should not cause any issues.

I just wonder when you first saw the problem, were you using a file that was created in previous GWD version? Can you create a brand new file and try again?

I have also attached a test file for you to try. Can you open it in GWD, then double click on the binding from Dynamic panel? Let me know if you see any error in the Dynamic dialog on that test file.

Hi Emily,

I've made test with the creative test-advertiser-id.
On the first load of the creative test in GWD, I have the input "Profile" filled

But, OK is desactived.

If I click insight the "Advertiser" input and keep the entered text, I have the error : "Please select an advertiser from the list"

And if I change the Advertiser and choose one in the list, nothing is happening. I can't focus the Profile input.

Regards

Hi Romain,

It seems that there might be some issue in your Studio account. Would you please contact Studio support to see if your account is set up properly to access the dynamic advertiser/profile?

In the mean time, can you try one more thing?

Please download my test file (from previous post) again, open it in GWD, then open the Dynamic dialog (double click on the binding in Dynamic Panel). It should open the "Bindings" tab in the dialog. Just don't go to "Data Schema" tab to change the advertiser/profile info. Instead, in the "Bindings" tab, try to add binding. I just wonder if you can add new binding in the test file? If it works, you can probably use the test file to continue adding content and bindings until the account access issue is resolved.

Thanks,
Emily
