Hi there,

I have been creating assets for our display manager at Jellyfish (Google Partners) and every time he uploads my content, it says there are two exit URLs, to which he can't override through DC.

I've been using the tap area, creating an event on tap/click and adding an exit. I then publish the zip and send them through to him. The zip files are always under 60kb.

Please help as soon as possible,

Thanks in advance,
Callum

Hello,

To add on to Callum's inquiry, when we are uploading the files into DCM, it is showing up with "Display" as the Type, not HTML5 or Enhanced Banner. When clicking on the Creative under the Ad Level, there is no "Override ad-level click-through URL" box in the Click-through URL field.

Thank you.

Robert

Hi Callum,

I  tried creating a file and uploading to DCM as "Display" format as well as "HTML5 banner" format and there is no error

If possible send us a screenshot  of your file where you are seeing the errors in DCM,also please send us your source file at gwd-s...@google.com.It will help us in debugging the issue better.

Thanks

Hello Sukhbir,

I'm attaching three screen shots. One has the Ad Level view which indicates multiple exit events. The second is the Creative Level which is missing the Override button. The third is from a separate campaign which provides the override button. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Robert

It looks like a DCM issue .Can you please contact the DCM support  at https://support.google.com/dcm/answer/2834170?hl=en

DCM is indicating it's not a DCM issue. They are indicating that the files are too large, even though they are smaller than other HTML5 creatives. Trying to find out if this is due to GWD and if there might be something with that.

Hi Callum,

I have sent the updated files with instruction. I'm posting the reply here too.

In our previous version 1.5.4 GWD file with TapArea Exits were displaying two exits in DoubleClick studio /Adwords uploads.

We have fixed that issue in our latest release 1.6 So TapArea shows  user defined TapArea exit.

To see the fix in your Ads you  have to open the file in latest release  and re-publish it again .

I hope this helps!

Hi Sukhbir,

Thank you very much.
We did as you said, and the issue was resolved.

Much appreciated!
