Missing Timeline events from events pop up box (gotoAndPlay)

In version 1.6.1 I no longer have the option to select timeline events ( specifically gotoAndPlay in this case)

How do i add events to jump to labels in the timeline or in nested animations like I used to?

I have scoured around google and this forum.

I am probably missing something stupid simple, but all the documentation and videos are not current to the latest build so I am a little lost as where to find it.

I used to be able to select timeline and then gotoAndPlay from the pop up menu when creating an event, but no matter how I try I cannot find its equivalent or new location.

Any advice or help would be great, just want to jump to my different labels in the timeline.

I am sorry about your issue.

Could you please make sure to have a keyframe animation exist at least in one of the layers, then add an event marker (diamond shape icon+E) on Events layer and double-click it?

When the event dialog pops up, it should show Timeline action there, which should include gotoAndPlay timeline event.

If you still don't see it, could you send me a screen shot?

Ya see i knew it was me missing something stupidly simple. Thanks for that sorry for the confusion. Appreciate your feedback though!
