In the Quick Mode Animations (Default mode), you will see icon that looks like an 'Arrow that loops back'.
This icon is between the 'play icon' & the 'Advanced' button.
Clicking this will make your animations loop infinitely.

In the Advanced animation mode, the same Icon is right next to the 'play icon'.

yes it is important to be able to build an animation that loops 3x then stops.

Hello,

For the loop icon next to Play button will loop the animation for testing in GWD's stage live preview. So when you hit Play button, the animation should play on the stage and it should loop infinitely. However, this will not affect a published animation. Currently we support looping animation per layer in Advanced animation mode in GWD. When you have a layer and insert keyframes, you can just click the loop icon in the layer next to Eye icon. This will pop-up the animation looping window where you can set iteration of the animation for the layer. This will affect the published file.

Thanks,

Hi,

If you are not comfortable switching to the Advanced mode of the Timeline, you can change the number of times an animation loops using the CSS panel:
  1. Select the element whose animation you want to change the loop count for.
  2. Look at the CSS panel for the animation -webkit-animation style value. It should look something like:
    1. gwd-gen-ten7gwdanimation_animation 1s linear 0s 1 forwards
    2. Replace the number before the 'forwards' keyword (highlighted in red above) to another number such as 3 to loop 3 times or to infinite to loop indefinitely.
Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Hi, I followed your instructions using Advanced animation mode.

Now I do not understand any more where the key frames are gone.

I am trying to open that project back in Simple animation mode, but I cannot.

I'd like to add some seconds after the last key frame before the loop starts again, how?

Many thanks.

Hi!
For actual production and ad creation it is important to be able to loop the *entire* animation. Lets say I have 2 slides with some text popping in etc. It is important to be able to loop the entire thing, like the feature next to the play icon. Looping individual animations is kind of pointless most of the time. What we really need is to loop the entire thing. Is it possible to do this? If not I wont be able to use the program for ad production.

Just as the lock/unlock and hide/unhide layer icons have different states, the loop icon should have states to indicate which layers are not looping/looping n times/looping infinitely.

Great suggestion! Thanks! I'll file a feature enhancement request!
