Adding a new font from "Google Fonts" changes all fonts of document to that font, how stop this?

If i go look for a new font on "Google Fonts" so i can write something with a different font, when i select that one font to add, all my texts change immediately to that one font.

How can i stop this?

Two things I would check; A font style applied to a high level element like the body or paragraph tag which affects all your text, or duplicated text elements which share a common class so changing one affects all.
