Published HTML5 banner has a 3-second delay before animation starts

My company has recently begun to switch from Flash to HTML5 banners and we are using GWD currently to develop the banners. Things seem fine but when I publish my project there is about a 3 second delay where the entire page is blank before the assets become visible and begin animating. I have the animation looping 3 times and there is no delay between loops, it just happens on the initial load.

When I preview the animation, there is no delay at all, this only happens once I've published locally.

Any ideas as to how I can get rid of the delay?

Check and see if the option for "polite load" is enabled when you publish. Sounds like it might be the issue

Are you guys creating the ad for DoubleClick Studio environment?

In GWD, we do add the following the link in the preview file to stimulate the Studio Preview environment, so that is probably why you notice that the images and animation show up immediately:

     <script data-exports-type="dclk-quick-preview">studio.Enabler.setRushSimulatedLocalEvents(true);</script>

However this line is not needed for the published file when you publish the file to Studio (Publish Locally or Publish to Studio) because Studio will take care of the preview correctly from the Studio environment.

Can you upload your creative to DoubleClick Studio and preview in Studio?

hello. I have the problem when i preview banner in GWD the animation starts immediately but when i uploaded it the animation starts in a few seconds.

Is it possible to fix it?
