"Save As" Function Not Working

After the update, File>Save As does nothing now. Tried command+shift+S, still doesn't work.

Hi,

I'm  unable to reproduce the issue. Save as dialog comes up once I  press command+shift+S

Can you please close GWD, clear the cache, relaunch and try again?

• Windows: HD:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Google Web Designer\data\cache 
• Linux: ~/.local/share/google-web-designer/data/cache
• Mac: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Google/Web Designer/data/cache

Could you let me know if that doesn't help?

I'm having same problem, cleared cache but no effect. Command+shift+s doesn't work, neither does using the file menu.

Please help us reproduce the issue by providing the following info:

1. Where is the original file saved? Can you please provide us the full path to the file?

2. What OS platform are you on?

Colleague of mine had the same issue with an existing file. So, he:

1. Created a brand new file.

2. Did a save as of the new file.

3. Closed the new file.

4. Then went back to the original file that wouldn't save as and doing what listed above then resolved the issue and allowed him save as.

Dunno if it will work for you, but thought it was worth sharing all the same!

Can you please ask your colleague to please send us the file that causes the issue with save as? We would like to investigate the issue further to see if something in the file might have caused the save as issue.

Original file saved on the main system hard drive. I'm running OSX 10.11.6.

Hi everyone,

We have found the way to reproduce this issue on the Mac. It happens after you delete a folder that is specified in the new file dialog. The save as dialog fails to popup if that path doesn't exist. We've failed to check for this case. We are working on a fix and will provide an update soon.

We will release a fix soon. 

Can you please try the following: 

Create a new file

In the Location, set it to an existing folder on your system.

Click OK to create.

Then you should be able to use save as again.
