Webm not showing alpha channel in IE

Hi there,

I have specifically selected webm file type for my video so I can preserve the alpha channel. I understand it's not compatible with Safari, and am satisfied with the poster image being substituted in this case.

However, the video does not preserve the alpha channel (but still plays) in IE. Is there any way to force it to display the poster instead?
