Hi Jose!

It may be that the distro you are using is not supported by Google Web Designer. Please take a look at our system requirements, while we do support Debian 7++, it may be an issue with the "testing jessie" portion of your build: https://support.google.com/webdesigner/answer/3232604

thx

I've a Desktop with:

1TB HDD
8GB RAM
10MB Internet
1GB VIDEO
2 Screens LCD - 1920 x 1080

So, requirements are goods =)

Here a print screen when I launch the app:

What is your system locale?  Are you behind a proxy server?

Thanks,
San

Hi José,

I just downloaded and installed Debian Jessie Alpha 1 64bit (amd64) with Spanish and I was able to install and run GWD successfully.
We are basically testing with stable versions of OS though I'm wondering what is the difference between your Debian and a clean installed Alpha 1 release?

Thanks,

Ume (GWD team)

Just a heads up that Web Designer for Linux only supports 64-bit. It will not run on a 32-bit machine.

Our package scripts do call out to gconftool-2 to setup a custom url handler which allows template links to launch GWD. You could try removing those calls from the script and re-archive the deb package.

Or you could install gconf2 via sudo apt-get install gconf2

My problem fixed by re-installing gconf-editor

I'm glad to hear it. We are working to remove the dependency on gconftool as it is deprecated.
