Barlow Condensed Google Font includes 18 styles, but only 4 styles are availed in GWD when the font is added. Is it possible to use all faces, or is this an intentional restriction?

I have a brand font I'm using Barlow Condensed as a replacement for in some ads, but Regular and Bold do not have enough distinction to work well. I'd like to use some of the heavier faces, but they don't appear to be accessible. Thx

Yes, you can use all weights of any Google font. For now, go to Google fonts and select your font and desired weights, generate a LINK tag and paste it into your Web Designer doc in Code View (replacing the existing font link tag).

Then to apply any special weight, select your text and in the CSS panel add the font-family and font-weight rules as needed. Sorry, it's a little bit of a manual process and the special weights you want may not be available in the normal Text panel.

Hope that helps,

Hi DEX,

It is a limitation with the UI, not a restriction.

If you would like to use the heavier faces, in code view, add the font-weight to the url. For example, to use the extra bold, add :800 to the url as this:
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Barlow+Condensed:800" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

Please give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

Hope it helps.
