Just wondering how I can share a review url with a client without publishing to DoubleClick. I tried publishing to Google Drive but when i preview (in Chrome), all I see is code. Am I doing something wrong or is there a workaround? Thx!

Hi Chris,

After you publish your file to Google Drive, the published file and its folder will be set to Public so you can share using the Google Drive hosting link.

 Try this :

1. Go to the folder of the published file on the Drive, copy the folder ID - it should look like 0B4C_aw5pxxxxxxxxxxxLWm (edited)
2. Append it to the end of this URL: https://googledrive.com/host/

I hope this helps !

Thanks

Hi Sukhbir,

I tried doing this, but I am still not getting anything when I append the id to the end of the url. Here is the link to the folder and the google drive host link:

www.googledrive.com/host/0B3K1A3xF8zubT3MzLWNIUEduaDQ

I'm not able to understand what is the issue here. I'm able to click on this link and view the Ad as shown in the image below :

Are you not seeing this ad when clicked ?

Let me know.

Hi,

Is there a way of sharing through this method without having to be logged into google? When I share with a client it is asking for a google login and they don't have one.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Sukhbir!

This was indeed very intersting.  I have tested this, and this way we can publish public (for all). BUT: I have read that google have planned to stop this possibility very soon.
So I jut wonder:

1.   Is it correct, will this be gone very soon?
2. OR: Wil this solution only work for google web designer creations?

Is this why when I try this now I am getting a 502 error?

This method has worked for me previously but only in the last few weeks have I been getting an error.

Thanks

I've also been having difficulty with this function and have been getting an error each time I try to do preview with Drive.

@GWD, is their a work around for this so that clients can preview/approve ads before going live?
