Hello,

Thank you for using Google Web Designer.
When you say you are not able to select keyframes, does that mean that when you click a keyframe, it won't change into a blue keyframe?

Please make sure of the following....

- When you add an element, the element layer appears. In the timeline, right click to insert a keyframe for that layer. By doing so, you should be able to select the keyframes you added.
- When a keyframe is selected, it becomes blue.
- Shift and Click allows selecting multiple keyframes.

If the timeline is non-responsive, then please delete your cache and re-launch Google Web Designer again.
Linux    /usr/local/google/home/<your user name>/.local/share/google-web-designer/data/cache
Mac      /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Google/Web Designer/data/cache
Win       C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Google\Google Web Designer\data\cache

If that doesn't help, could you explain what you see in details?

Thanks,
Mariko(GWD team)

Hi,

I deleted the cache but it didn't help.

The problem is when i open a file the blue scroller is stuck on 0.0 and i cant move it through the timeline by simply click dragging it. Also to add a keyframe i right-click on certain layer and select insert keyframe the keyframe is added on 0.0 and not on what i have selected.

can you help me with this?

Hi,
I am sorry about your problem with keyframes.

Does the issue described also happen to other new files, such as not being able to move the playhead or insert a keyframe at a certain timing?
If you haven't tried, please create a new banner file or HTML file and see if the same issue persists.

If the problem only occurs to a specific file, the file might be corrupted.

Unfortunately, we are not aware of such an issue, so could you please send us your source files that show the issue, so that we can debug and look into what is going on.

Thanks,
Mariko (GWD team)

Hi,

I think the file is corrupted as you said, i did try to create a new file and the plahead was fine.

Is there any way to fix the corrupted file? cause i also realize that the whenever i opened that file the other files where having the same issue.

Thanks,
Nikhil

Hi,
There might be a way to fix the file, but unfortunately we are not too sure of it till we take a look at the file.
Did you delete auto-generated code off the source code or did you add your custom code there?

Please send us your source file(s) if possible,

Thanks,
Mariko(GWD team)
