Dear All,

I would like to put attention about Safari, I noticed that safari as several issue following the javascript preset commands, often that breaks an entire creative idea.
In particular what I noticed is the command pause is not respected if put after the second 0, other issue is related with the command Goto*, every time that command is invoked the animation has a flicker. The funny part is nor even IE11 has this issue, only Safari does.

Unfortunately from a mobile perspective IOS users can't be ignored so that would be very important focus on Safari's weird issues; beside putting an effort to fix those JavaScriptCore issues, it would be useful if you could stick in this forum or in the main help section a list of workaround to fix those problems because searching in the forum shows to many results, most of them older respect the current version we use.

If someone else knows other Safari issue please do not hesitate to inform about that to the GWD Team!

Thanks for your attention,

Daniel

I am having a similar issue with creative we are developing. When using the previous button on a filmstrip unit it is ignoring the goto and play/ goto and pause commands. Another major issue i am having is that in safari it seems to not follow the z-index of objects. I have text sliding in on top of a text box, which works in all browsers except safari.

One frame of the filmstrip units is a video, which by default is set to show frame 1 of the video, in safari it comes in as a grey box. When you press play the video works as it should. On the same frame it seems to be passing by a "pause" command in the main timeline and is playing later frames that should not be accessible until the user interacts with the unit.

The final problem on this unit is an animation issue. I have a box that is supposed to animate in, each outer line of the box drawing in over the total time of 1 second.  The problem is that none of the formatting holds and the lines are starting and ending in bazar places.

I wish i could post a link here to get help on the issues but it is client work and I am not allowed to do so.

Does anyone know any workarounds for any of these issues?

Correction, the video issue is safari mobile only, it works on my desktop safari.

All the above issues were present on safari mobile, and all but the video showing up grey issue also show up on desktop.
