Preview doesn't work

Hi every one,

I have created an ad exactly like the one taught in Google Web Designer help (2.3 Swap out assets).
But after all, I can not see any results from the preview. (not works for any of the browsers)

Any suggestion?

Hi Sadegh,

The file you attached is a published file. When I opened it in Chrome v50 on my Mac, I can see the video and image, see the following screenshot:

Which version of Chrome are you using? 

In Chrome v50, you can try disable the "Use hardware acceleration when available" option in Settings > System.

Also, please double check whether your browsers have any Ad-Blocker extension install and disable them before preview.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm using the latest version of Chrome (Version 50.0.2661.94 m).

I have disabled the "Use hardware..." option as you said and I don't have any ad-blocker extension. But still, it doesn't work for me.

Interesting part is, this file is not played in any of my browsers like Chrome, FireFox and Edge.

Are you using the latest build of GWD 1.6.0.0429? (In GWD, click Help > About Google Web Designer)

Can you clear the browser cache and try preview again (open the index.html file from your published file)? 

I would also like to know whether Chrome preview work when you preview from GWD using the Preview button?

Do you just see a blank preview? Can you check for any error in the browser console (Do a right mouse click in Chrome and select "Inspect" and go to "Console" tab) and send us a screenshot of the error?

- I'm using the latest build of GWD released till now (Version 1.5.4.0113) LINK

- The cash was cleared, but nothing has changed.

- I'm still seeing the blank page, please find the attached image of error I get in the browser console.

Hi Sadegh,

Thanks for the screenshot... it seems that there is some connection issue with Chrome and your machine (network probably)... I have seen other Chrome users complaining in Chrome forum about connection problem when they use it on Windows 10... Do you happen to have a Windows 10 machine? Is it a 64-bit OS? Are you using proxy server?

I think your published file is fine as I have no problem to preview it on a Mac and a Windows 8 laptop on our end, so one thing we could try is to make sure you have 64-bit Chrome installed and Google Web Designer updated to 1.6.0.0429 (the latest version that we just released this week).

If you do have a Win 10 64-bit OS machine, would you please try the following steps:

1) Uninstall Chrome

2) Download 64-bit Chrome installer from Google and install it

3) Launch 64-bit Chrome

4) Open GWD - check "Help > About GWD" to see if it is updated to 1.6.0.0429

5) Open the file you were working on before

6) Preview in Chrome

Or 5) Create a new file, add a youtube component and preview in Chrome
