Gearing up for Chapter 1: The Basics

Hey guys,

Discussion formally starts on Monday, but I wanted to get us thinking about the next step on the Member Handbook. According to the schedule, which seemed to receive broad consensus, the topics for next week are as follows:

Chapter 1: Introduction; The Basics

1. What is the GWB? Existential questions galore!
2. What am I entitled to as a member?
3. What is expected of me as a member?

My idea, as mentioned to Jessi, is to include the Code of Conduct (or whatever we want to call it) within #3, since it's an expectation. Also, that's where you put any expectations about up to date xp logs, character/approval documentation, and so on. It would be a good place for the Honor Policy as well. Entitled to are where things like "what are your rights when being investigated?" go, as well as MC and so on if we want to introduce the topic. Buser wrote a good intro that he shared with me last week, that could work very well for #1; I'll share it a bit later, when I'm not at work.

Anyway, this is just to get you guys thinking. Happy Easter/Ostara/not-quite-equinox (is it Ostara? I'm not up on the pagan holidays, honestly)!

I agree that the code of conduct(or whatever what we end up calling it)

should be placed in item 3. MC and Prestige belongs (IMO) in item 2.

I think that covers the obvious.
