Glow Night at the Velodrome - Wednesday July 8 8:30pm to 11:30pm

Cost: $10 per adult- Taken at the gate

$5 per youth (17 and under)- Taken at the gate

A late night fun family summer event with glow sticks attached to your track bikes (wheels, frames, etc). Three glow sticks will be provided and we encourage you to bring more to make your track bike as glowing as possible. We also encourage everyone to dress up in the funkiest riding attire or costume they can find. There will be prizes up for grabs from Broad Street Cycle, Code Sports, Cycles West, Dr. Walker Cycling, Kissanya Arbuckle Photography, Rumble Supershake and more! Prizes will be awarded for the top youth/ adult most creative attire, top youth/ adult most creatively lit track bikes, 1st place in the races (elimination, backwards scratch race, Colwood Crawl and more pop up races) as well as 2 draw prizes. The only 2 catches are to claim your prize you must have a Glow Bike (and) or be in funky riding attire and stay until 10:50pm when the prizes will be given out/ drawn.

There will be hot chocolate provided by the GVVA, Wanna Wafel, Hot dogs and pop (sold together for $3.00 or $2.00 a piece) and Timbits. This fun event is not just for the cyclist (‘s) in your family; it’s for everyone whether you are riding or not. See everyone there and remember to keep the rubber side down!

All proceeds go back to the Westshore Velodrome for other fun events! Come out and have fun on your Glow Bike with your funkiest riding attire in little light.

*Everyone must have completed a Learn to Ride or have ridden a track before if riding the track
