TRACKFEST june 16th

Hi Everyone,

Trackfest will be on June 16th. This is going to be our first trackfest since 2008. There will be a two-day later this summer, but in the mean time, get ready for some awesome racing. here are the details (see the poster too):

Part of the Victoria International Cycling Festival (vicf.ca)

• Scratch
• Keirin
• Devil take the Hindmost 
• 3/4 up matched sprints 
• Team Sprint 
• Points Race 
• Unknown Distance
• Wheel Race

All categories (A, B, C)

and at the Harbour Rd Sprints on Friday Night. 

Day-of Registration 8:30-9:30am

Racing starts at 10:30am — Cost for the whole day: $40, $25 for U19

Billeting and Ferry Pickup available

Suggestion: you can combine trackfest with the Habour sprints on Friday 15th and the Nanaimo Cobblestone Classic on Sunday the 17th. Go to http://bikeracing.ca/nanaimo-cobblestone-classic-2012/ 

If you could help spread the word that would be great. Also, we are looking for volunteers and hosts/drivers for out-of-town racers. You can contact me about volunteering, hosting and driving at emiled...@gmail.com. All other questions can be directed to in...@gvva.bc.ca, or in person at the track!

Hi Emile,

I am planning on comming out with Melanie for the trackfest and maybe the
crit, although I fly out east on the Monday. If possible is the track open
on the Friday night, also what are the sprints on Friday night?
I can't remember, do you have a facebook page for this event? Then I could
post a link on my page. Busy busy at work here! Hope your healing well.
