Subject: Spin CIty to support VAC
This Friday evening, February 3rd, Catalyst Lifestyle Services and Spin
City are partnering up to raise money to support youth cycling in our
community. Since 2002, the Victoria Academy of Cycling has been a launching
pad for young cyclists of any experience level to begin riding bikes. The
aim of the program is to help enable young athletes to ride bikes, of all
disciplines, emphasizing fun and safety first. The VAC has seen the growth
of several athletes from regional to national to international
competitors.
The event will run Friday from 6-9 at Catalyst Lifestyle services on the
corner of Cook and Fort street in the Mosaic Building. All of the proceeds
of the nights spin class and silent auction will go directly to supporting
youth cycling in our community.
By donation. Minimum recommended is $15. Will be food and drinks.
Silent auction also with cycling gear and donations from local businesses.
