Bike Jam Volunteers Needed - Wed April 6

The 2016 School Bike League - Bike Jam is taking place on Wednesday April 6.   this is the 5th year that Juan de Fuca parks and rec, and the westshore velodrome, will play host to the School Bike League Bike Jam event.

I am happy to volunteer again this year as the velodrome station lead and lead coach for the sessions,  but need help setting up for the day.   

 

If there are any GVVA members who are able to help for 2, 3 , 4 hours... (or all day) I would greatly appreciate your help.   If you can come early... great.   If you can come after lunch.... great.   Any help is appreciated.    You can help with bike set up before each group of athletes takes to the track.   You can help as a peer coach,  riding along with the students.   You can help as a station greeter.   

 

the first step to the event,  and where I need at least 3 helpers,   is setting up bikes starting at 8:45.   the first group of students will arrive at the velodrome at 9:30.  

 

There will  be six groups of 20-30 students visiting the track,   each group will ride for 30-45 minutes.   

 

The day runs from 8:45 -  3 PM.
