#1. Hey guys, I'm looking for helpers in the young twos this Sunday because my regulars will be out of town! It's just ONE Sunday! I know some of you have kids in that class and if you'd rather NOT because of that I TOTALLY understand! And I know some of you are already teaching, but I'm asking this group anyway! And if you know someone who you think would be willing to help, please let me know.
#2. Please keep me in your prayers. I've had a very rough first week. There are just soooooo many changes. New district, new school, new team, new grade, new ways of teaching, new routine and I am really struggling! :(. I have a million questions, but I'm pumping before school, during lunch, and during my planning which leaves no time to discuss things with my team or get anything done. And after school I'm so exhausted and I just want to go get my kids! This is truly the most difficult struggle I have had in a long time and I am very unhappy with things right now. My new team doesn't work together very well and I'm accustomed to my old team who were amazing in every way! Its kinda "every man for himself" and theres just sooooo much curriculum because i am teaching five subjects. It literally takes me several HOURS to figure out what I'm teaching the next day. So i stay up late and then I'm up feeding hannah once or twice in the night and up at 5 to get ready and get two kids to school by 7 and I'm just drowning here. I've held in tears every single day so far and then let it all out when I get into my car. :( then I have to pull it together to pick up kids and be with them for a couple hours before randy gets home- unless it's a Thursday or Friday- then he's got games except this week which he has games wed, thurs, and Friday! :-/
