Way update

Hello everyone!!!  We have had a LOT going on lately, so I just wanted to update you all! 

First, thanks for all the prayers for Hannah, everything went very smoothly and we are so happy she's finally here!!!  When I went in for my appointment last Thursday, they did hear the heart arrhythmia again, and it was still there when she was born, as well as a murmur.  They did an echo and an EKG on her heart before sending us home and we followed up with our pediatrician the very next day.  The heart specialists and our Dr. say she is just fine, but obviously it is something we will have to monitor.  We go to see the heart specialist next Friday.  She is perfectly healthy other than the abnormal heart stuff.  Please just pray that she continues to grow and hopefully she will "outgrow" the heart stuff. 

Most of you know about Randy's new job already, but just in case- he will be a teacher and coach at McKInney North High School.  God completely had his hand in this the entire way.  Randy was being overly friendly talking to a substitute teacher at school a few weeks ago, and shared some of his "story" if you will.  The guy ended up talking to him for a while(he was an ex-coach and nice Christian guy), and calling the head coach to "put in a good word" for Randy even though he'd just met him.  The head coach is a Church of Christ guy and it is truly a perfect fit!  They don't work on Sundays and he won't have to coach basketball, and there are lots of other great perks!  ;-)  Huge praises to God!

Last but not least, I got a call yesterday with a job offer at Glen Oaks Elementary- just 3 stop signs and one red light away from HOME!!!!!!!  It is a fourth grade position and I am beyond excited.  I had gotten a call earlier in the day for another interview at Bennett Elementary (also very close) so I am planning on going to that interview tomorrow at 2:00.  It is for a third grade position.  Please pray that it goes smoothly and God will help me see which might be the better place to be! 

We are feeling absolutely overwhelmed by the many blessings we've had in such a short time.  We appreciate all your thoughts, prayers, and support during the past few months.  God is good and takes care of us- this we never doubted- but it seems his plans are always better than even our own!
