Prayer request

Several of you will remember my sister Rebecca Tome. She has been to small group with us in the past and has two daughters ages 3 and almost 6 and they're currently taking care of our nephew age 15. She's also currently 6 weeks pregnant. Her husband Jonathan went to the doctor today and received some scary news. He may have fatty liver disease, is borderline diabetic and the doctor is concerned about a real possibility of pancreatic cancer. An ultrasound was scheduled immediately for Tuesday. You can imagine the stress they are feeling at this time. You may or may not know that pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive types. Once diagnosed the patients do not live very long. We are fervently praying this is not the case. Please join us.

They don't know yet when they'll see the doctor. Waiting for an appt to be scheduled to review the ultrasound.

I can't imagine thinking the worst like that. Talk about preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
