Connection point groups

Hey everyone, we hope you've had a good summer! You've probably heard about the changes being made to small groups, now called connection points. There will be a kickoff meeting this Sunday, where you can check out the different types of groups and who will be leading. We will be out of town this weekend, but we have signed up to lead a family group. The format will be different than it has in the past. One week will be just moms (possibly on a weeknight after kids are in bed?), the next will be just dads. The third week of the month, we can all get together for a meal and/or fellowship - it could be at a home or at a park, anywhere we'd like. The fourth week is for service projects. We can wait and see what options are available and decide how that will work with little ones. We are encouraged to keep groups small (3-4 families), so depending on what people decide to do, we might need to talk about splitting. Enjoy your week. Talk to everyone soon!

Hey guys, I hope you all had a chance to check out the connection point extravaganza last week. There is a lot of new information being presented right now, so I know some people are still deciding, but if you can, please let us know over the next few days if you think you'll be part of our group - we'd like to start meeting in the next few weeks and it would be great to come up with a schedule that works for everyone. Thanks!
