Missoula Jamboree

Hello everyone.  I got a call from James in Missoula about trying to get some players (both girls and guys!) to come to Missoula on Saturday May 22 for the Jamboree.  They said that a full team was not needed- whoever could come would find a way on the team.  I’d say we try and get some players together to go up there.  It would be a great opportunity.

Probably get things going about 10am, end about 5pm

 

Colleen, perhaps you could an email to the player/parent list inviting them.  We could just have folks meet at the HS and carpool to Missoula.

 

Does anyone have contact information for the boys coaches?  James would like to get in touch with them about some details of the event.

This is for high school and middle school, although it sounds like the middle school program is pretty limited.  I think it would be nice to have some middle schoolers there and then they’d at least get to play with some different kids.

Hi,   Ceely wants to do it,  Andy is afraid he'll be terrible since he hasn't practiced and Sam has to work that day- but there is a slight chance that he can change schedules with someone else. Our van has 7 seatbelts, and we'd be happy to take kids up if we end up going.  Laura

If we’re going to do this, and I think we should, we need to get the word out.  I’d say just a simple email to the parents & players would work.  Colleen, can you send that out?

I'm trying to get through all these emails..... I would be happy to send out an email but I need more details like what age groups.   and I dont' think the boy coaches are on board yet, everyone is just trying to get through finals.  I will get in touch with Andy to see whats going on.   Sounds like we are not going as a team, just individuals? 

Taylor do you have time to take the gvll email off this list, it's too hard weeding through these emails along with parents and everyone else emailing off the web.  thank you so much.

If we can form a team for the jamboree, that would be great.  It’s not necessary though if we can’t get the numbers.
