Is this project still being worked on? If you can get the contacts to
sort correctly, and add sms messaging, I'd probably switch over to my
google voice number completely. I don't like how small the buttons
are on the official google voice webapp, and I'm tired of waiting for
them to release a proper iPhone webapp.

I am definitely still working on this. Because google doesn't actually
have any support in their authentication api's, I am still working out
a good solution for pulling the contacts without making users re-enter
their login credentials every time their contacts update. Thanks for
your interest in my project. If you have any suggestions, please let
me know!

Are you writing this in python or java? Which api are thinking of
using for sms? Are you planning on open sourcing your code somewhere
like code.google.com? If so I might try to contribute a bit to this
project if that's ok with you.

I am writing this in python. I might open-source it at some point, but
it's definitely not ready for that yet. I'm rewriting a major portion
of it right now.
