Good morning, Dear all, I am studying Lidar360, working on an unpaved highway of about 20 km, this highway has different topographical characteristics, that is, various scenarios, flat, inclined, mountainous, in terms of soil classification, what is the best way to do this? In the test I did, I separated each piece, classified it and then put it back together, but I don't think it's that way.

Hello Divino,

Could you please specify how you would like to classify the data? For the outdoor scenes you mentioned, you can typically use the Classification → Classify by Deep Learning function to automatically classify the point clouds. If you feel that the classification categories are insufficient, you can manually crop the necessary features in the point cloud and use the Classification → Classify by Machine Learning function for further classification.

For detailed instructions, please refer to section 1.5.6.3 of the user manual.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to let me know.

Best regards,
