I need to vectorize the breakline on a primitive road (without pavement) on the point cloud, is it possible? do it manually or automatically? Can you show me how, because I couldn't.

Hello Divino,

If you need to manually add a linear vector to the point cloud, you can right-click Vector->Add Layer->Select the vector type as line->Click the vector->Add Line (or other Drawing types) to manually draw the vector on the point cloud.

Is it possible to do this automatically? I have a horizontal plane and a vertical plane, the intersection of these planes would be my mandatory line (breaklines) .

Regarding the situation you mentioned, we recommend using the "Detect Road Side" feature. This function can automatically extract the breaklines you need. I’ve attached a demonstration video for your reference. For more detailed information, please refer to the MLS user manual.

Apologies for the confusion. The "Detect Road Side" feature is primarily designed for identifying roads in urban environments, so it may not perform well on the rural roads shown in your image. For this type of scene, you might need to manually draw the road vector lines to assist with the process.
