Lidar360MLS: orthophotos out of scale

Hello everyone,

When importing orthophotos generated in Lidar360MLS into AutoCAD, I noticed that they are out of scale (approximately 40 times smaller). The project scale is correct (in meters), the drawing scale in AutoCAD is also set to meters, and the measurements on the point cloud have been verified. However, the measurements on the orthophotos are significantly smaller. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a setting I might be missing?

Hi Sir,

Glad to hear from you.

LiDAR360MLS won't change the unit of data when generating Orthophoto. 

Do you have other GVI software or third-party software that supports point cloud and Orthophoto, please check in other software to confirm whether the problem occurs in the process of generating orthophotos or in the settings of AutoCAD.

Below is the overlay display effect when I open the point cloud and Orthophoto in LiDAR360. You can see that the scale has not changed. The point cloud and Orthophoto are both from LiDAR360MLS.

If the orthophoto cannot overlap with the point cloud in other software, please provide the operation video recorded in LiDAR360MLS to further check the problem.
