Every Sunday evening, the following week's lesson plans are due to me. Please send them in the format that's attached.

The title should look like this:

Danny Spatchek - E9 - Weekly Plan - S2W15

The second part is "English 9" and the final part is "Semester 2 Week 15". The week starting on February 25th is Week 1. Every week thereafter is a new week, INCLUDING spring break and midterm weeks. There are a total of 18 weeks this semester.

Next, you'll need to send me your Semester/Yearly Plan and your Class Syllabus. I've attached samples of those as well.

Please follow the formatting of the attached files as much as possible.

Alright that's it for this email. The next email will cover resources that you need to read to prepare for this semester and your grade levels.

You might want to check with Chris or Enoch this again.

All the programs that is a year-long program should have an yearly plan.

I heard that the syllabus has to be planned out for the year. I'm not 100% sure about the semester plan.

Actually, scratch that. There's a process to submit the files through groupware's approval form. I'll send out instructions on how to do this for the new teachers soon. In the mean time, see you at the meeting.

You will still need to provide a plan so that the teacher that is replacing you can have a general idea of what to do to follow after your first semester.

Hey all, I was misinformed.

The syllabus AND yearly plan are due on February 20th!

You must combine both into ONE document called i.e.: "12th Grade English Literature Syllabus 2013 - Jeremiah Choi" or something like that.

In that document will be the Syllabus and at the end of that document will be the Year Plan. I've split mine by the semester. (Please view the attached the document to see an example. (I haven't yet added AR and such).

Sorry for the misinformation! We'll have a dept. meeting again today that's been scheduled by the In Service team. We can all work on the year plan / syllabus together during that time (unless they give us some other agenda).
