You might be able to drill it out slightly and retap it for a different size adjuster. I think M6 would have been standard. Perhaps you can locate a M7 adjuster.

I remember having it and looking at the thread which had been damaged by the acid which they use to clean the metal before planting. I have had to replace other screws because of the acid cleaning. What I see missing here is a clevis pin. It looks like this is not a running motorcycle. There should also be a bracket to hold the cable housing. I would go look at your parts manual and see for sure what is all missing. The clevis pin I can't help with but you should be able to source one through a hardware supply. Online McMaster Carr is great for this stuff. You may need to get one slightly larger and machine it down. You'll also need a cotter pin.
