As many of you know, I am active with a Falcone Club in Italy. Last
week one of our riders (Pio Ivano Torresin) suddenly passed away
unrelated to moto. I was fortunate to be able to jump a quick trip from
San Francisco to attend his funeral. Nice to have local club support to
instantly solve all of my last minute logistics. Five days and back
home in my own bed. I actually stood adjacent to his coffin and made a
very brief speech in Italian about our 2014 California Tour which
generated a round of applause in the church. Talk about petrified!
Notice the picture on his coffin in church at the mass. 2019 tour to
Morocco. A nice big camel standing behind Pio and his Guzzi Falcone out
in the desert.
His final ride away was in a hearse by Maserati! What a way to go!

I don’t know if I met him when the club came to Motion Pro or not but having the club stop by was a real treat. Condolences to friends and family.

Very sad to hear, Patrick. 73 is no age. I would say you're a good man to make that effortful a friend at such short notice notice.
