Good morning,
I'm looking for a rear fender luggage rack for my '61 Turismo. It is an ex-government bike, if that changes anything. The one that came with the bike is apparently for another application.
I've checked the sites I could find that sell parts for Falcones and Airones but haven't come up with anything?
I'd appreciate any leads.
Thanks,
Denis

I had a Falcone NT in the shop a few years ago and it had a simple rectangular carrier with one flat steel cross bar and four tabs that bolted to the mudguard. It was made from mild steel tubing and the corners were bent with about a 2" radius. It had a padded pillion seat that was easily removed. Does your bike have holes in the rear mudguard for such like?
I have a rear carrier in my parts bin that I can photograph and measure up for you. Anyone with basic metalworking skills could fabricate one of these without too much effort. I expect that it would be easy to find one at the Mostra Scambio if you happen to be anywhere near Imola on the weekend of Sept.11.

Hi Alan,
My bike does have holes in the rear fender. A passenger pad has been on the bike since the 1980s. The holes are drilled such that the front legs of the rack would be much longer than the rear. I'd love to go to Imola but I'm in NC, USA!

Hello Denis,
The mounting tabs on most of the Guzzi  parcel carriers that I have experienced are more or less symmetric and are centred over the tool boxes. You might have to drill some new holes if you are going to fit a standard parcel carrier on your mudguard. The old holes can be blanked off with solid rubber "grommets".
You could make an inquiry to Guzzi Retro to see what they have in the way of parcel carriers:https://www.guzziretro.com/
