Hi Folks,
My nephew in Denver is "recommissioning" a 1986 Le Mans IV that has evidently sat for a number of years.  He needs to rebuild the front Brembo master cylinder and has been unable to find a rebuild kit (seals are 12mm)  He's spoken to MG and Harpers who both say that part is unavailable..  The part number is 28659300 .   Cycle Garden may have one.  The fellow there told me to get in touch with Crusty Cycle.  Their web site says that they will be closed until late January.
Can you folks in the group suggest some European sources that may have the rebuild kit.?

                                                                    Thanks, Bob Andren

No luck with either Stein Dinse or Teo Lamers.
Gutsibits in the UK list them as due back in stock soon.

Try a Google search for  Guzzi 28659300  It brings up one or two other possible suppliers including MG Cycle who list it as in stock.

Maybe à question of time. Brembo parts are being remanufactured, but slowly apparently.
I'll have a look around.

There is an Italian company named Ariette that is selling some hydraulic kits. They have a website.

I'm not sure if that one is the same as part number 28659300 Stein Dinse state that is at least 8 weeks delivery time.

From experience,  Stein Dinse are liable to state a delivery time when in fact, they don't have the slightest idea.

Personally, I have never had any problems with delivery times with Stein-dinse.com.
On the contrary, they gave me a delivery time that turned out to be shorter than expected!
The Moto Guzzi part number is 28659300.
I found an old Stein-dinse paper catalog with the Brembo part number: 10279700.
This part is still available under this part number at Stein-dinse.com.
Stein-dinse uses several reference numbers for the same item, which does not make searching easy!

Problem solved then.
For Stein Dinse, I'd ordered a set of early 750 Laverda clutch plates from them. 8 weeks delivery announced.
I looked around, the parts weren't available from Surflex. After a few weeks, I found the parts on ebay and cancelled my order with Stein Dinse.

From memory, Brembo has stopped manufacturing older parts and that side of things has been taken over by I think Grimeca; but for the moment, all isn’t available.
