Non-sleeping Falcone

Last weekend we took Chris’s ’51 Falcone to the Hillsborough Concours along with his Jawa 652 Banana Frame (ISDT bke).
The Falcone took third and the Jawa won the motorcycle division. We need to get more bikes out there though!
Anyway after starting the Falcone for the judges I pulled the key but the bike continued to run. Am I confusing it with German bikes that stop when you pull the key? I know we’ve talked about this before………
We still have the decompressor to stop the engine but……
Maybe I need to check the wiring in the head light again.

I've replaced the brittle HT lead with a nice new one and fitted a new connector which attaches the HT to the magneto. I've set and cleaned the points and bared the end of the HT lead but nothing.
