I don't have one on hand but can usually get one drop shipped to you in about a week at the quickest. 
I have one on the Stornello I was running in the Giro's and it's been flawless.

No mods required to the engine. You may need to drill a hole to mount the coil and there is an advance control box for the four strokes. There is also a voltage regulator. I’m not positive but I believe I have the coil in the standard location and the ignition control and regulator are mounted in the airbox.
You will need to replace the bulbs with 12v globes. I don’t use a horn, dedicating the horn button as the kill switch. Wiring is often the most difficult part for owners. I prefer to pull off most or all of the original harness and start from scratch. 

Cost right now is hard to give anything but an estimate. I don’t really sell these to try to make money and with the tarriffs, it’s become harder. I am going to guess it will be around $600. I should be able to get it closer before actually ordering. I don’t add any markup to the suggested price but there is also shipping.

Here is how the current pricing breaks down to the best of my knowledge.
The system itself is 477.21
shipping from CZR will vary with the number of units I order. I've found that 3-4 at a time was best for getting under the customs limits and maximizing per unit cost. It was around 50.00 each with a single system running around 75.00.
I ship USPS Priority to you which with insurance should be around 25.00
The big variable is the tariff. It was peaked at 30% but just this morning I saw the reversal coming from the Supreme Court has cut that. So, that remains unsure. If you prepare for 30% you should be pleasantly surprised but if you think the tariff is total history, you may be disappointed. 
As I said, I don't do this to make money so I don't add any markup to compensate for expenses so it makes it hard to nail down an exact price.I will usually wait until after I have the system shipped to you before I ask for money. I can take Paypal, a check or Zelle. If you need to use a CC then probably go through Paypal.

There are two systems listed. One uses a 90mm stator base and the other uses 94mm. The listing says the 90mm is for after '71 but I would want to have you confirm the actual size.

Hi Robert  

I have fitted a Vape kit to one of my Stornello's.  I mounted the new coil behind the headstock in the same place as the original one and put the control gear in the battery box.  
To modify the wiring to give you 12v lighting off the battery, you need to remove the 2 redundant green and red wires coming from the generator to the board in the bottom of the headlight and take a power feed from the battery +ve wire to the extreme right socket where the red wire came from.  The lighting circuit will then be fed off the battery.  
The system is very good, it gives you electronic ignition and 12volt battery lighting rather than the pitiful 6volt AC lighting they usually come with.

Hello, have seen some systems that don't look that good mainly the poor quality of the stator windings so my next question was going to be ,,is this kit being used and that does seem to be answered in the positive. next would be ,,,is it a complete kit ie coil, voltage reg and etc. and which one for a 1965 Stornello ? Not being lazy but just about to head off to Ireland for a month and just don't have a lot of time to spare. So , am willing to give it a go so, Richard please accept my order for system , will send postal  and payment when ready, thanks. Robert.

I put a Power Dynamo system on my BMW R26. It was a straight forward process with excellent instructions. It worked very well and transformed the bike to a one kick start. The cost was a fraction of the BMW parts that were needed to light up the spark plug and charge the battery. It resulted in a 12v system, so a battery and bulbs were needed. I used the OEM 6v horn without issue; it's just a little louder. Not sure how it would stand up to continuous use as in a wedding parade, but the occasional short toot is not a problem. 
Highly recommended.

It’s a fair amount of money to invest in these bikes and I understand. I’ve been importing these for over 25 years. They were Vape components with the machining and fitting components being made by MzB in Germany. I first bought one for a Penton that had lost its Motoplat but I wanted to retain lighting capabilities which the popular PVL couldn’t do. Even though there were some early troubles I was still very happy with them. The German owner ran into some health issues and sold the company to Vape. I was hoping with it all being under one roof the prices might go down but I really should have known better. LOL!
They’ve not been without problems. The first systems used an adhesive attaching the magnets to the rotor shell that broke down with exposure to fuel/vapor. They also used to rivet the shell to the hub. Now, rotors are one piece. I warrantied a bunch in the first few years then they changed adhesive and problem gone. It also allowed them to build systems with “wet” flywheels like Ducati. I’ve had a few of the AC regulators fail. Those are the little “sugar cube” type and one or two coils. The company has been good on warranty and support assistance. Being in Silicon Valley, I think I’ve become very used to seeing a very high level of quality in things like winding appearance. The Vape windings look kind of hap hazzard to me but it doesn’t seem to affect function or reliability. In fact Patrick was following my Stornello, being a chase rider for the Cal Giro and commented that my brake light seemed much brighter than others.

All good I think although the gluing is a bit of a worry. Does the kit come complete? Plug and play as they say, apart from the battery, do they make 12v bats small enough to fit? Also is sending to Australia a problem apart from exchange rate and postage cost, thanks Robert.

The one that I installed on my BMW had the option of wiring without a battery. I used  the battery option so the brake light would remain bright when sitting at intersections.

Correct, a battery is not required other than to run lights with the engine off or if you have an electric start.

Just had a look at the sight and bit confused as to "bikes built after 71" although lists two product numbers so assuming that is for early and late  models. Robert.

I removed the right side cover but did not pull the rotor.  There is no way the stator base plate is less than 94mm O.D. on this bike.  Must be the later unit that I need.

Moto Guzzi changed the Stornello in 1971 and introduced a modified engine with 5 gears and a squarer barrell shape.  Yours will be the earlier model.
