Lodola 235 wheel size

Hello, help please.

The wheel/tyre size for Lodola 175 are:

Front:  Wheel: 18x21/4  Tyre: 2.5x18

Rear:   Wheel: 17x21/4  Tyre: 3.0x17

Are these the same for 235cc?

Yes, they're the same sizes.

John, if you’re doing new rims, years ago when I discovered some cracks in my 17” Boranni on my 235 Lodola, I couldn’t find another 17”, right away.  So I took some measurements, installed an 18” on the rear and have never regretted it. Previously I was always tapping my toe on the gearshift looking for 5th gear, which, of course, doesn’t exist.. the 235 doesn’t suffer much on the bottom end and the extra top end is quite nice.  I eventually found a 17”, which I will save for the next owner.

Thank you for the insight, I will have to rebuild the wheels (well actually have them done for me) so on your advice I shall do the same. Did it effect the speedo do you know or did you not notice a difference.
