June 2. Happy Republic Day in Italy. Somewhat similar to American July
4th.

The national holiday commemorates the historic referendum of 1946 when
the Italian people voted to abolish the monarchy and establish a
republic. It is widely celebrated across the country with military
parades, air shows, and public festivities, with the main events
traditionally centered in Rome.

Make sure you wear Green-White-Red today.
