One of my Falcones came with a Veglia non-chronometric speedo "fabrique in suisse"
Early Falcones mainly used Jaeger chronometric including rev-counters on some sports models. They typically had white faces and black lettering.
Some did have Smiths speedos.
Both mine now have Smiths chronometric (model S433/1/L)
On my Ercole I use a ISPXP bicycle speedo that I bought from
Amazon
The battery seems to last well over a year and comes with a clock.
The Ercole does not have the speedo gearbox and mounting
attachments on the front wheel so a bicycle type seemed the
easiest fit.
I don't have the front wheel speedo gearbox on it so a cycle speedo was the easiest fit:

Hope this all helps
Gordon
