You could start by searching our emails with "spark" and see what you get.

I found this in the following thread:
Yes, clean the contact points, clean the carbon brush pickup and contact surface, replace the spark plug with a non-resistor type, replace the spark plug cap (again non-resistor type) & high tension wire with copper core wire and replace the condenser. These are relatively easy and inexpensive repairs. If still no joy, then shell out the big bucks and get the magneto overhauled by a specialist.

Here's one specifically on no spark:

Here's another conversation;

Have you tried anything?
Change plug
Check points gap
Check continuity of HT lead from plug cap back to magneto

That's a start. If you start to detail your attempts, I'm sure others will chime in.

If it has a magneto, I stand by my comments quoted above for the first stages of troubleshooting. I'm not familiar with the Ercole electrics. It may have a battery/coil ignition, or the magneto may have a grounding switch for shutting down the engine. Can you provide details?

It might help if you tell which variation you have else we are all wasting time.

Ercoles models went from 6V  with a magneto and kick start to 12V with coil ignition and electric starter motor.

The diagnosis to find the fault is completely different.
