You could start by searching our emails with "spark" and see what you get.
I found this in the following thread:
Yes, clean the contact points, clean the carbon brush pickup and contact surface, replace the spark plug with a non-resistor type, replace the spark plug cap (again non-resistor type) & high tension wire with copper core wire and replace the condenser. These are relatively easy and inexpensive repairs. If still no joy, then shell out the big bucks and get the magneto overhauled by a specialist.
